Ode to the Tower

She's not the Eiffel one, she's red. And taller.

何でもあるけど何にもない。何にもないけど何でもある。
Seem saying, in a perfect cryptic Japanese style, there's a lot to admire from her top. At one condition: you have to be able to see it.

How To Use Washi Tape

Instead of wrapping, what about using washi tape as an interior decor element? Here some ideas 'stolen' from Pinterest, my gold mine. Funny, isn't it?

70s Tokyo

I fell in love with Tokyo when I bought this guide.
I was a 9 years old little girl when I found out in my favorite bookshop this 70s tourist book about Far East with a small part regarding Japan. It was love at fist sight with this picture of a Tokyo so far away from now, at the edge of her economic growth.
The good smell of this second-hand book and what it really means to me makes me think about my passion and how young I was when I first started to build my future.

Instagram Queen

While I was having fun with Instagram I found out Junko's profile (@juuuuuuww).
I don't know much about her life (and that's my appeal: please, Junko, tell us something about you) but she's a financial planner in Kobe who likes Marimekko, Mina Perhonen, sewing and expecially cooking.
She's my Instagram Queen of the week!

Something about Junko

'Hi. I'm Junko. Thanks for your great post!
I'm 29 years old and a mum of one girl.
I like cooking.
I have been working in the bank, and then leave for childcare.
Thank you!'

Una Tantum

I promise. This is the first and the last time I write about something so different from the main core of this blog. This post is about blogging and how lucky I was to have won these amazing glass coasters in the Fine Little Day giveaway 2 weeks ago. They recalls me 'home' and that's why I love them so badly.
Thanks again Elisabeth and thank you Lili's.

Sharon Hwang

She's not Japanese. She lives in Frisco. She's not a chef. She's a graphic designer (and you can easily get it). She loves Japanese food...and gathering. And her boyfriend's photos go exactly in the same direction.

I've got a Pinterest board called 'Food For Eyes'. Sharon Hwang's food belongs certainly to it!
