Sakura-ndom

Cherry blossom is pink. Spring is pink. Life, at this time of the year, is pink. Think pink.
Ok, just for today, let's have fun and let's go hanami (if only I would have a cherry tree in my garden...)!
This post is my monocolor celebration of this Japanese custom. Or do I have to call it 'state of mind'?

This is all you need to celebrate: some flowers of course, a good and fresh song and a cotton yukata to stay comfy on the grass. My favourite? The hanami pic-nic set from the talented Ebony Bizys of Hello Sandwich!

IDEE, home decor

Idée is a furniture store in Japan that not only captures the aesthetic of being simple and smart, but is tailor-made for Japan's notoriously small homes. In search of the best sofa ever I can't stop being inspired by these pictures.
Please, Idée, come to  Europe soon!

Yukiko Suto

The cherry blossom season is almost near and all that I need is a new inspiration that reminds me every time this new feeling.
Yukiko Suto's works are something very close to what I used to feel during my favourite season in my favourite Japanese town these days, two years ago.
Attention to details, sense of colours, realism, gardening, flowers and plants. What else?

Have a good spring!

Satsuki Shibuya

I wish I were her.
Satsuki Shibuya is a polyedric woman born and raised in LA and involved in many different projects, from sewing to drawing, from video making to cooking.
My crush about her work? It's all about her Instagram pics of food. Simple, clear and cute.
Well, how not to mention her fantastic sewing works? Wish I could buy all the bentō wrappings from Satsuki's on-line shop ;)

Nothing left to say but 'love them'!

Mes petites kokeshi

This is Emilie Guelpa's poit of view about Japanese lovely things. In my opinion, she can't be compare to other food stylists, she's the best.
'Mes petites kokeshi' is the result: a great graphic project in collaboration with Adelin Klam presented in her amazing blog, Griottes.

The last pic is an abstract from Thème Un envol d'origami/extrait de "je cuisine poétique".

Origami Crane

Origami Crane means addiction. Whenever I be that brave to make a tatoo, it will be a crane for sure. Well, an origami pattern wallpaper will be enough too...

(This is my Pinterest weekly selection, by the way)
