Have a nice week!

Sunday night: time to think about a new week to start. After a nice walk and some interesting readings about New York City, here there are some pics I've totally forgotten in my camera since months! It's time for editing...
Have a nice week you guys!

Nostalgia

Sometimes it happens. And it's time to collect great pics, perfect views and states of minds.
... Today it's all thanks to Gooldays.

Chiyogami pattern

Kidivist is happiness and passion. Anne, its creator, is an Architect and, first of all, a mother. She makes poetic and delicate origami-mobiles for kids with particular attention to materials and details.
Colour and B/W mobiles are made from Japanese paper and chiyogami one, the typical origami pattern.
How cute are they?

'D' is for doll

Kokeshi are handmade Japanese dolls originally from northen Japan.
Today I've found a post about how to make a DIY dolls display. And I've started to search the perfect paper to realize my own one.
Any suggestions?

Yoshie's Home

Yoshie Nishikawa is a Japanese photographer based in Milan. I was captured by this editorial from Casaviva, an Italian magazine, and by the mix and match of cultures spotted in Yoshie's house. I love how the white details from a modern taste are mixed up with the wooden ones from the Japanese tradition.
Don't you feel the same?
